CHENNAI: In connection with ‘World Mental Health Day’ SCARF, a non-governmental organisation working in the area of mental health, is organising an awareness exhibition ‘Mind Matters’ on Saturday at P.S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore.

Organised in association with SNEHA and the Department of Psychiatry, VHS, the exhibition seeks to demystify mental health issues and promote positive mental health, a press release said. Stalls with information on various mental health related issues, including alcohol-dependence, suicide and positive mental health would be put up.

Entry to the exhibition, open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., is free.

Issues related to parenting, facing exams, handling childhood and adolescence, problems of old age, memory loss, depression and several other anxiety disorders will feature in the stalls, the release said.
