Prisoner escapes from hospital

HYDERABAD: An undertrial prisoner, who was admitted to Gandhi Hospital on Thursday, escaped from the hospital in the early hours of Friday. Nagaraj (25), hailing from Krishna district, was arrested by Madhapur police recently on charge of cheating unemployed youth. He was later lodged in the Cherlapally jail. Jail authorities shifted Nagaraj to Gandhi Hospital along with two escort constables after he complained of severe chest pain.
