Gold jewellery, cash stolen

HYDERABAD: Thieves took away gold jewellery weighing 400 gm, Rs. 2 lakh in cash and Saudi riyal 12,600, from a house even as its main door lock was intact, in Yakutpura of old city, the police said on Friday. A housewife, Raheemunnisa Begum, 50, told the police that offenders took away the property from the house after she and her family members went to a farmhouse on Wednesday.
