A new film on ragging
Parul Sharma
NEW DELHI: After having composed the country’s first song and video on ragging, a non-profit organisation, “Coalition to Uproot Ragging from Education” (CURE), has now produced a short film focusing on this nuisance.
The 35-minute film is based on interviews of two students who faced brutal ragging on their institution’s campus.
The students share their traumatic experience even while their identities and the names of their educational institutions remain undisclosed to ensure they talk freely and without fear.
The film, “Anarth: In the Name of Education”, will be screened at Delhi Public School in Sector XII of R.K. Puram this Sunday at 11-15 a.m.
