Exchanging views: Actor Suriya in discussion with director K.S.Ravikumar at a press meet in Chennai on Thursday. CHENNAI: Like in Dasavatharam, director K.S. Ravikumar has made a string of innovations in his next venture Aadhavan. One among them is a scene in which Suriya sports a younger look – as a 10-year-old boy in the movie. “The scene has been shot after days of hard work and a lot of thought has been put into it to make it happen,” Mr. Ravikumar said, addressing media persons on Thursday. EntertainerThe movie, which is slated to be released next week, will be a family entertainer and is likely to attract people of all ages, actor Suriya said at the press conference. On his 10-year-old look, he said the unit has fused computer graphics and many other technologies to bring out the scene at an affordable cost. “The movie is about an assassin who is based out of Kolkata. A subtle thread of suspense runs throughout the film and audience are sure to find something new in the movie,” he said. Terming his experience of working with Saroja Devi, who is acting in a movie after 12 years, as “humbling and inspiring,” Mr. Suriya said the story has also given a lot of scope for humour, with Vadivelu taking care of the comedy track. Actor Ananth Babu, after a brief break from films, will also resume his acting career in this movie. Nayanthara pairs up with Suriya and actors Murali, FEFSI Vijayan, Ramesh Khanna, Shayaji Shindae, Rahul Dev are part of the cast. Harris Jeyaraj is the music director, R. Ganesh is the cinematographer, stunts by Kanal Kannan and France and art by Rajeevan.
