TANUVAS centre inspected

PUDUKOTTAI: Collector A. Suganthi on Saturday inspected the regional research centre of the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) at Machuvadi in Pudukottai district and saw the functioning of the emu bird farm and hatchery, fish culture in the centre.

The Collector also inspected the training centre and saw the booklets published by the TANUVAS for the benefit of farmers on poultry farming, fish culture. She said that steps were taken to provide adequate water supply to the centre. Prof. Richard Jagadeesan, Head of the Centre, explained to the Collector the various research activities being carried out by the centre.
