Mysore: Local lad M.C. Praffulchand continued with his good form and returned with a two-day aggregate score of eight-over 148 (72 + 76) and clinched the Category ‘A’ & ‘B’ title (15-17 years), in the South-Zone junior golf tournament which concluded at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf course here on Sunday.

M.S. Yashas Chandra of JWGC, Mysore took the runner-up spot with a two-day aggregate score of 149 (73 + 76). Teammate I.L. Aapaap finished third with an aggregate score of 153 (75 +78).

M.S. Yashas Chandra clinched the Category ‘B’ title (below 15 years) with a two-day aggregate score of nine-over 149 (73 + 76). S. Siddartha emerged runner-up with an aggregate score of 161 (81+80).

The prizes to the winners were given away by Joseph C, South Zone junior golf Tour Manager.

Category ‘A’ & ‘B’ (15-17 years): 1. M.C. Praffulchand 148 (72 +76); 2. M.S. Yashas Chandra 149 (73 +76); 3. I.L. Aalaap 153 (78 + 75).

Category ‘B’ (Below 15 years): 1. M.S. Yashas Chandra 149 (73 +76); 2. S. Siddartha 161 (80 +81); 3. Akshath Vaidyanath 168 (84 +84).

Category ‘C’ (11-12 years): 1. Aditi Ashok 159 (77 +82); 2. Anirudh Kedlaya 167 (82 + 85); 3. B.C.Ganapathy 171 (79 + 92).

Category ‘D’: 1.Shreyas Chandra M.S 166 (81 +85); 2. Prateek Nagaprasad 179 (87 +92); 3. Nikhil A Pai 189 (93 + 96). — Our Correspondent
