Raichur: Train services between Mumbai and Chennai via Raichur resumed from Wednesday and services of all other trains through Raichur railway station will resume from Thursday. Trains via Raichur were suspended since October 2 following damage to the tracks at Chiksugur near Raichur and in between Mantralayam and Adono in Andhra Pradesh. This had resulted in the suspension of trains in all directions via Raichur. According to railway authorities here, the restoration of damaged railway tracks has been completed before the scheduled time, facilitating the movement of trains via Raichur from Wednesday.
