SMS for free dental check-up

KOZHIKODE: Free dental check-ups are being given as part of the programmes organised to mark ‘Oral Health Month’ by the Indian Dental Association (IDA) and Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited. The check-ups which began in September with continue till the end of this month.

Around 15,000 dentists in over 1,000 towns and cities are taking part in this initiative, an IDA press release said here on Thursday. Those interested in availing free check-ups can SMS their postal pin code to 5676725 or call the toll free OHM helpline 1800228550 for information about availability of a dentist in their locality. The details about the nearest available dentist would be provided as a reply to the SMS. Then, they need to call the dentist for an appointment and schedule their check-up.

A dentist can be located also by logging on to www.oralhealthmonth.co.in.
