NEW DELHI: Eminent road safety experts from over 20 countries will participate in a two-day meet on “Accident prevention and road safety measures” beginning here on October 23.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit will inaugurate the global meet being organised by the Geneva-based International Road Federation (IRF).

“Experts will discuss ways and means to reduce fatal road accidents as India accounts for 10 per cent of the global road accident deaths of 1.3 million people annually,” said IRF vice-chairman K. K. Kapila.
