Orissa defeats Bangladesh
NEW DELHI: Orissa defeated Bangladesh 5-1 in a pre-quarterfinal league match of the under-17 section in the Subroto Cup football tournament on Sunday.
In other matches in the junior section, Chandigarh beat SAI 2-0, Jharkhand beat Uttarakhand 1-0, while Mizoram drew goalless with Nagaland and so did NCC against Tripura.
In the sub-junior section, Army Boys outplayed Uttarakhand 14-0 and SAI was equally authoritative in its 11-0 victory against Gujarat. In other matches, West Bengal beat Sainik School 2-0 and Chandigarh drew 1-1 with Nagaland.
