Two killed in road accident

VIZIANAGARAM: Two persons were killed and 13 others injured when a maxi cab rammed a stationary truck from behind at Chandakapeta village under the Bondapalli station limits on Monday.
P. Kumar (35) of Challapeta in Mentada mandal and P. Srinu (40) of P.S.R. Puram in Gajapathinagaram mandal died on the spot.
Four of the injured persons, whose condition was stated to be critical, were taken to King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam, while the others were admitted to district headquarters hospital here. Driver of the cab was at large.
Bobbili DSP Mallikarjuna Rao and Bondapalli in-charge Sub-Inspector Ch. Rajulu Naidu visited the spot.
Investigation is on.
