Councillors briefed on the exercise People asked to bring income certificate and family card KRISHNAGIRI: The photographing exercise for the ‘Kalaignar Maruthuva Kappeetu Thittam’ begins in Krishnagiri Municipal limits from October 26, Chairperson Faritha Navab said here on Thursday. The exercise would be held in all the 33 wards in the municipal limit at 16 places till October 29. People whose income is below Rs. 72,000 per year have been asked to report to the photography centres concerned, where the people voted during the Parliamentary elections, she added. A meeting of councillors and the public was convened at the Krishnagiri Municipality by the chairperson to explain the scheme. V. Devarasu, Joint Director (Health Services), A. Ganesan, Deputy Director, explained about the scheme, the number of diseases covered under the scheme, hospitals recognised in the district and all over the state. In case of difficulty, public can contact the Village Administrative Officers concerned attached to their photographing centre. Details of the photography centres and the dates were issued to the ward councillors where they were asked to sensitise the public to make use of the opportunity. People have been asked to report to the centres with their income certificate and ration card.
