Toshiba JSW raises $90 m for TN project

NEW DELHI: Toshiba JSW Turbine and Generators, a joint venture between JSW group and Toshiba Corporation of Japan, has signed a land lease agreement with the Tamil Nadu Government for setting up manufacturing facilities for steam turbines and generators in Chennai. The company has signed an agreement with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation for a $90 million loan that will be used to finance construction of the facilities. — Special Correspondent
