Notification for VAO posts shortly

KRISHNAGIRI: Notification to fill 2,000 posts of Village Administrative Posts would be issued shortly, said A.M. Kasi Viswanathan, Chairman, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission here on Friday.

He announced this at an awareness programme on competitive examinations after inaugurating the Krishnagiri Rural IAS Study Academy at the Government Arts College for Men in Krishnagiri.

He said the waiting list of names of candidates for VAO’s post would also be released soon.

Mr. Viswanathan also announced that hereafter, the notifications for Group I and Group II posts would be issued in November and December every year.

Regarding the stagnation in recruitment of Group IV posts, he explained that the Commission was conducting tests for temporary employees to regularise their posts. After this exercise was over, announcement for regular recruitment for Group IV would be made.
