Varsities basketball put off
KOCHI: The venue of the South-West and all-India varsities women’s basketball championship, scheduled to be held at the Sacred Heart College here in November, has been shifted to St. Peter’s College at Kolencherry (in Ernakulam).
The dates of the championship have also been changed and it will now be held from December 11 to 19 with the South-West event fixed for the first five days.
With the South-West and all-India events postponed, the MG University women’s inter-collegiate championship which was to begin at Aluva’s St. Xavier’s College on Monday has also been put off.
The event will now be held at the same venue from November 5 to 7. — Principal Correspondent
