KCA ‘B’ in control

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KCA ‘B’ was in command against KCA ‘A’ on the second day of the South Zone under-16 inter-zone cricket tournament at the Agriculture College ground on Sunday.

The ‘B’ side, after restricting the ‘A’ outfit to 201, scored 349 in the first innings. It also reduced the ‘A’ side to 50 for three in its second innings.

At the Medical College ground, half-centuries by Unni Mohan, Ryan Rasheed and Balu Babu helped KCA ‘D’ take the crucial lead against KCA ‘C’.

The scores:

KCA ‘A’ 201 & 50 for three in 12 overs v KCA ‘B’ 349 in 88.4 overs (Sandanu 68, Akshay Chandran 58, Bibin Baby four for 107).

KCA ‘C’ 254 & 31 for two in eight overs v KCA ‘D’ 260 in 88.3 overs (Unni Mohan 58, Ryan Rasheed 52, Balu Babu 56, Fabid Feroque Ahamed five for 69). — Principal Correspondent
