Biography of Lata Mangeshkar

Bangalore: A biography on playback singer Lata Mangeshkar was released by renowned artiste S.P. Balasubrahmanyam here on Tuesday. The book “Haadu Hakkiya Hrudayada Haadu” has been written by journalist Vasanth Nadigar and published by Sumukha Prakashana.

Speaking after releasing the book, Mr. Balasubrahmanyam said: “I am glad to have been able to interact and sing with her. Lata Mangeshkar is a singer par excellence who is always respected in the film fraternity.”

He said he came to know that he had sung 32 songs with Ms. Mangeshkar only after leafing through the book. Lokayukta Santhosh Hegde was present.
