Terrace garden contest

KOCHI: A competition to select the best terrace garden will be organised as part of the India International Agri Expo 2009, to be held next month in the city.

The contest is intended to encourage cultivation of vegetables and plants on the terrace, according to the organisers.

Prizes will be awarded to winners at the international expo to be held from November 19 to 21.

The last date for participating in the competition is November 7.
