Indian investigators to question Headley
Vinay Kumar
NEW DELHI: A team of Indian investigators will travel to the U.S. next week to question David Coleman Headley, arrested on October 3 in Chicago by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on the charge of plotting terror attacks against the country, official sources said here on Thursday.
The team, likely to include senior officials from the Research and Analysis Wing and the Intelligence Bureau, will seek access to question him.
Indian authorities are also trying to ascertain the identity of a “prominent Indian actor” called “Rahul,” reportedly named by Headley. They said it appeared that the alleged terror-plot, targeting India, was “much wider” and only an extensive probe would unravel all the angles to it.
