Plea to lift ban on toddy tapping

TIRUCHI: The Tamil Nadu Toddy Movement has urged the government to lift the ban on toddy tapping. A resolution adopted at the Tiruchi district advisory committee of the Tamil Nadu Toddy Movement on Friday said that toddy should be removed from the list of liquor items and treated as a food product. — Special Correspondent
