Safety inspection at Tirupur station

Tirupur: A team led by Senior Divisional Safety Officer of Southern Railway (Salem division) Amalraj conducted a surprise check at Tirupur railway station as part of safety audit here on Friday.
The officials carried out inspections at the station, cabins and level crossing gates, besides checking the records at the station pertaining to safety measures taken by the officials here.
“Inspection of this nature are being conducted to check whether safety parameters of various installations are adhered to properly apart from checking the safety norms followed in the case of train operations through the station,” senior officials told reporters here.
Tirupur Station Manager K. Ravindran was present.
