GUDIVADA (KRISHNA DIST.):The PG department of Business Administration of Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) College here on Saturday conducted a State-level MBA students meet. Over 500 students of MBA from colleges affiliated to various Universities across the State took part in the event titled ‘AMS Confluence-09.’ Students of the ANR College played the host and conducted various competitions to the participants. Events in categories like young manager, business quiz, stock trading and market makers were conducted as part of the daylong programme. Cultural performances by the students marked the valedictory session. Vice-Chancellor of Krishna University M.K. Durga Prasad, who was the chief guest of the function, advised students to focus on their career and improve communication skills. He said there were ample opportunities for graduates and postgraduates in management. Director of ANR College’s PG department V. Narasimha Rao underscored the need for students acquiring additional skills to get good opportunities in the global market environment. Secretary and correspondent of the college Parvataneni Nageswara Rao presided. Nandigama MLA Tangirala Prabhakara Rao, principal M.V.N. Nagi Reddy and others were present. Treasurer of the college K.S. Appa Rao presented prizes to the winners.
