Bangalore: The world’s smallest Bible that weighs about 10 grams is a reproduction of 1,245 pages on a small slide. It can only be read using a microscope. And, how about a copy of the Holy Book that is waterproof? These were among the exhibits at the Bangalore International Christian Book Fair which is drawing big crowd. The 12-day fair, organised by STL-OM Books and International Bible Society, was inaugurated here on Saturday by Johnson Varghese, Pastor of Bethel Church in Bangalore. “It is an opportunity for Christians in Bangalore to buy a wide variety of books under one roof at affordable prices,” said Johnson Varghese. Johnson George, Director of OM publications, described it as the biggest Bible fair in Asia this year. Besides these exhibits, stalls that sold a wide variety of affordable copies of the Bible were also drawing big crowd. “We found everything that we were looking for at the book fair,” said Liang, a theology student. The book fair is being held till November 9 at India Campus Crusade for Christ Auditorium, Hennur Main Road, Lingarajapuram, near Jyothi School.
