NEW DELHI: Shri Ram School (Aravali) and Scottish High International School reached the quarterfinals of the DSA inter-school football tournament on Monday.
In the fourth phase of matches played at Gurgaon, Akash Mittal struck four goals in Shri Ram School’s convincing 5-0 win over Amity International School (Sector-46). Dhruv Kharbanda netted the other goal.
In another match, Scottish school defeated Our Lady Fatima School (Sector-14) 4-2.
Ishan Suri, Anirudh, Piyush and Dhanraj were the scorers for the winning side. Nitin and Anshul reduced the margin for Fatima school.
In other matches of the day, Amity beat Ajanta Public School 1-0 and Fatima pipped Shri Ram school 4-2 via tie-breaker.
