3,314 shops register for shopping fete

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 3,314 shops across the State have registered so far for Kerala Tourism’s 45-day Grand Kerala Shopping Festival, beginning on December 1. Ernakulam district tops the list with the highest number of registrations followed by Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur as on November 2, festival director K.N. Satheesh has said. The registration would end on November 15.

Those who want to become partners of the shopping fete after November 15 would have to pay an extra fee of five per cent, Mr. Satheesh said. — Staff Reporter
