CHENNAI: V. Ganga Sridhar Raju’s all-round show was the highlight of Santhome HSS’ 35-run win over PSBB (K K Nagar) in the final of the P.B. Trophy tournament. Because of rain, the final was played on a 25-over basis. The scores: Santhome HSS 143 for nine in 25 overs (V.Ganga Sridhar Raju 57, R. Vishnu 26, Rohit Shankar three for 17) bt PSBB (KK Nagar) 108 for eight in 25 overs (Athreya Mukunthan 30, Ganga Sridhar Raju four for 15). Special prizes: Best batsman: D. Govindarajan (Govt. HSS, Ashok Nagar); Best bowler: Kiran Kashyap (PSBB, KK Nagar); Best fielder: A. Karthik (Santhome HSS); Best all-rounder: Nithin Dharam (Don Bosco, Egmore); Player of the tournament: Athreya Mukundan (PSBB, KK Nagar).
