Cariappa memorial

BANGALORE: The 13th Field Marshal Cariappa Memorial hockey tournament will be held at the BEL grounds, Jalahalli, from November 18 to 29 on a league cum knock out format.

12 teams have been divided into four groups and the winners of each pool will qualify for the quarterfinals where four teams — SAI, MEG, ASC and Army Green — have been directly seeded.

The groups:

Pool A: MLI, HAL, ITI. Pool B: KSP, PCTC and DBHA. Pool C: Central Excise, Kodava Samaj, BEL. Pool D: Canara Bank, Wheel & Axle, BEML.
