Mixed day for State shuttlers

BANGALORE: Karnataka shuttlers had a mixed day in the qualifying rounds of the junior National badminton championship at the PET courts in Mandya on Monday.

While local girl Devika Ravindran and Proya Prakash eked out convincing victories, the talented Anisha D. Karumbaiah in the girls’ singles and Prathap Menon in the boys’ singles failed to make the tournament proper.

Hockey tourney
