Testing the innovative best

BANGALORE: Eighteen teams representing India’s best technical schools will showcase their novel solutions in the field of renewable energy during the Edison Challenge that will be unveiled at General Electric’s John F. Welch Technology Centre at Whitefield Road, on the outskirts of the city on November 5. Short-listed from about 200 entries, innovative technological solutions developed by the 18 finalists will be judged by a five-member panel, who will look for the finest technological innovation to provide much-needed power to rural areas.
The winner will get a cash prize of Rs. 6 lakh.
