Symposium on heart diseases

Thiruvananthapuram: A weekend symposium on recent trends in the treatment of heart diseases is being organised by the SUT Hospital here.

The sessions on Friday are meant for general practitioners and physicians. Six heart specialists, both cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, from various parts of Europe, would discuss the ‘Changing face of cardiology.’ The sessions on November 7 and 8 will be at the SUT Royal Hospital, Kochulloor. It would discuss ‘Current concepts and controversies in cardiac care.’
