Thiruvananthapuram
Thiruvananthapuram: The tenth National Conference on Technological Trends will be hosted by the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, on November 6 and 7 as part of the 70th anniversary of the institution. As many as 175 papers will be presented in the conference this year, Principal J. Letha and organising secretary J. David told presspersons here on Wednesday. SessionsThe conference will have 23 sessions on five tracks namely architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering and electronics and communication engineering. Postgraduate students from various institutions across the country will present their research work at the event. Ms. Letha said all the preparations including submission and review of papers and notification of acceptance were made online this year. About 75 academicians participated in the review process. N.R. Shetty, president, Indian Society for Technical Education, is scheduled to inaugurate the conference on Friday. Director of the National Institute of Inter disciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) Suresh Das will deliver the valedictory address on Saturday.
