Seminar on consumer protection

NEW DELHI: The Department of Public Administration along with the Centre for Haryana Studies at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, is organising a two-day national seminar on “Consumer Protection in India” from Thursday.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.

Discussions will be held on themes like “Consumerism: Basic Concepts and Legal Provisions”, “ Working of Consumer Courts”, “Consumer Protection and Human Rights”, and “Local Bodies and Consumer Protection”.
