Expo in city on industrial machinery

KOCHI: The six-day International Industrial Machinery Expo (INCA-2009) beginning at Marine Drive on November 12 is expected to give a major fillip to industrial activities in Kerala.

Organised jointly by the State Industries Department and Kerala State Small Scale Industries Association (KSSIA), the exhibition is a platform for new entrepreneurs as well as the existing ones to get a first hand experience of what is happening worldwide on the industrial machinery scene.

A spokesman for the KSSIA said that the industrial machinery expo has been a biennial event in Kochi meant to help entrepreneurs in Kerala to get themselves acquainted with the opportunities worldwide. The event will be inaugurated on November 12 at 4 p.m.
