“Protect temples”

TIRUCHI: The local unit of Hindu Dravida Marumalarchi Kazhagam has requested the Municipal Corporation authorities not to demolish ancient temples while removing encroachments as it was affecting the sentiments of Hindus.

Thalavai Rajesh, convenor, said in a statement that the Kazhagam welcomed the removal of encroachments.
