Woman boxer found dead

HYDERABAD: S. Amravathi (18), a trainee at the Centre of Excellence being run by the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, was found dead in her hostel room at the Lal Bahadur Stadium here on Wednesday morning.

Amravathi had represented the State in the women’s National boxing championship held at Jamshedpur recently. As she did not turn up for the morning practice and breakfast, the authorities were forced to open the door.
