VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Cricket Association’s inter-schools tournament will be held at ACA Mangalagiri stadium and JKC College grounds at Guntur from November 10 in which 13 teams from three zones will compete, according ACA president Gokaraju Ganga Raju here on Friday. Delhi Public School (Vizag), Corporation High School (Eluru), St Joseph English Medium School (Kakinada), Srikant Public School (Kurnool), Montessori High School (Kurnool), Bhashyam Public School (Guntur) and Settur Zilla Parishad High School (Anantapur) will play at JKC Grounds. VP Siddhartha Public School (Vijayawada), Narayana Residential (Nellore), St Joseph English Medium School (Vizianagaram), Aditya Public School (Ongole), Kendriya Vidyalaya (Srikakulam) and Cambridge Public School (Tirupati) will play at the new ACA stadium at Mangalagiri. The semifinals will be held on November 14 and 15 at ACA Mangalagiri Stadium and the final will be held at the same venue on November 16. Jignas excelsCity archer, 15-year-old Ch. Jignas, representing Army Sports Institute (Pune) in the National junior archery championship that concluded at Rayapur (Chhattisgarh) on November 5, won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals in the boys compound segment. He bagged gold medals in 50m (343/360), overall (1347/1440) and Olympic round.
