Kishanganj: One person was arrested and a huge consignment of heroin seized from him at Thakurganj town in Bihar’s Kishanganj district on Friday, officials said. Acting on tip-off, Seema Suraksha Bal jawans captured Subhash Biswas from West Bengal and seized the contraband, worth nearly Rs.50 lakhs in the international market, from his possession, they said. Biswas is allegedly involved in narcotics smuggling from Nepal and Bangladesh to India.
