PUDUCHERRY: A workshop on ‘The Science of Language Learning and Karadi Path’ was conducted for principals and teachers of schools in Puducherry on Saturday.

According to a press release, the workshop focussed on the neurological and pedagogical aspects of language learning and differences between mother tongue, first language and second language.

It was organised by Karadi Tales Company.

Karadi Path, an indigenous English language learning programme, provides teachers both tools and training to bring mother tongue approaches into the classroom. Three modules – action path, music path and story path – are used to make a child a confident user of English. Nusrath Sultana, Manager-Product Development of the company conducted the workshop, added the release.
