One killed, 30 injured in road accident

SANGAREDDY: One person was killed and 30 others injured in a road accident that took place at Dharmasagar in Medak district in the wee hours of Saturday.

According to sources, an RTC bus belonging to Banswada depot hit a lorry while trying to over take it, killing Veera Raju (30) instantly. Another 30 persons including conductor Ranjit Kumar were injured and the condition of the driver was stated to be serious. He was shifted to NIMS at Hyderabad

The injured were shifted to the Hospital at Narsapur and latter shifted to Hyderabad. Some of the passengers escaped with minor injuries left to their destination. Police registered a case.
