Akademi’s move flayed

Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Purogamana Kala Sahithya Sangham has termed “insulting to India’s culture and literature,” the Kendra Sahithya Akademi’s reported move to collect the prize money of the award it proposes to institute in the name of Rabindranath Tagore from the multi-national Samsung company.

V.N. Murali, the general secretary of the organisation, asked the institution not to go ahead with the move.
