Shilton saves Bagan

Margao: Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Shilton Paul’s superb saves denied Sporting Clube de Goa its first win as it was held to a 2-2 draw in the seventh round of the ONGC I-League here on Saturday.

Sporting Clube took the lead in the 23rd minute through Nathaniel Amos which was cancelled out by Branco Vincent Cardozo in the 33rd minute. Marcos Pereira then put Bagan ahead in the 42nd minute but Joseph Pareira equalised in the 43rd minute. — PTI
