Plea for perfume industry in Pudukottai

PUDUKOTTAI: The Advani Peravai has urged the district administration to initiate steps for setting up a perfume industry in the district.

In a press release issued here on Sunday, its founder president C. Palaniappan, referred to the scope for starting the industry at either Vamban or Alangudi belt, in the wake of large area under floriculture in the district.

Farmers would benefit in a big way, the release added.
