Petroleum volleyball from today

KOCHI: The Petroleum Board’s 30th all-India inter-unit volleyball tournament begins at the BPCL Kochi Refinery indoor court, Ambalamugal, on Monday evening.

Defending champion Bharat Petroleum, the host, will meet Gas Authority of India (GAIL) in the opener. Six teams will figure in the five-day event.

S. Mohan, Director (HR), BPCL, will inaugurate the tournament.

The groupings: Pool A: BPCL, MRPL, GAIL.

Pool B: ONGC, OIL, CPCL. — Principal Correspondent
