Holiday for schools today

CHENNAI: Both government and private schools in several districts will remain closed on Monday because of incessant rains. The respective District Collectors have declared a holiday following the weather forecast on Sunday.

The districts where schools will remain closed include Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Villupuram, Tiruchi, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Ooty, Sivaganga, Ramnad, Theni and Dindigul. Schools in Puducherry and Karaikal will also remain closed.
