Promotion of traditional craft

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Labour and Excise P.K. Gurudasan said on Monday that the Kerala State Institute of Design in Kollam would conduct a comprehensive study on the traditional craft sector of the State by collecting and preserving all available materials. Addressing a seminar organised towards preparing a vision document for the institute, the Minister said it was the State’s duty to protect its unique cultural heritage in the field of craft. — Special Correspondent
