At a press conference here, the agency’s convener M. Veda Kumar said that people needed to be extra careful in the elections while selecting the candidate. They should not fall a prey to muscle and money power and liquor, he said. He saidwhile the landline would be manned up to 6 p.m., till end of campaign, a mobile with the number 90105-94834 would also be available for people to communicate with Election Watch.

Volunteers of some like-minded organisations would tour the wards, making voters take a pledge that they would not be enticed with money and liquor.
