Royal College of Physicians exam

Examiners from the U.K. will be paired with accredited examiners from South Asia


CHENNAI: The Royal College of Physicians, London, clinical examination leading to MRCP will be conducted at Madras Medical Mission Hospital here on Friday.

Candidates from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Maldives, Seychelles, Malaysia, Singapore and the U.A.E will take the exam on Friday. The examiners from the U.K. are Neil Dewhurst, Lawrence McAlpine, Brian Frier, Hood, Deepak Dwarakanath, Richard Long and they will be paired with accredited examiners from South Asia.

The host examiner and coordinator for South Asia is Georgi Abraham, professor of medicine, Puducherry Institute of Medical Sciences, and visiting consultant, MMM, according to a release.
