Consolation win for India

New Delhi: Out of contention for a next round berth, India scored a consolation 4-1 win over Afghanistan in their AFC under-19 championship qualifiers match at Arbil, Iraq.

Malsawmfela (48th and 72nd) and Jeje Lalpeklua (60th and 80th) scored for India.

Afghanistan scored in the 20th minute against the run of play as Mohammed Rahimi headed home a cross by Ghulam Niazi from the right flank. — PTI
