KORAPUT: Every language has its own strength and as a globally accepted language , English had occupied a leading position in the career of students, said Santosh Kumar, chief administrator of KBK, at Koraput on Saturday. He was speaking on the premises of Central University of Orissa while inaugurating the two-day workshop on English language skills. The workshop was a part of the student support programme initiated by the university for upgrading different skills of the students, Surabhi Banerjee, Vice-Chancellor, said. Among others Sujata Sen, Director (Eastern Zone), British Council and Gadadhar Parida, district Collector, also addressed the students on the occasion. Later Arpita Banerjee, eminent resource person on English language, interacted with the students.
